This summer, I am heading up a summer reading program for kids of all ages! The goal of our program is for kids to read 400 minutes in a 5 week period. The kids are taking pledges for reading this summer, instead of playing video games, etc. There are prizes for different levels of reading (400, 800, 1200 minutes). The best thing about this program is that we are giving back to our local kids in the local children's hospital. The pledge money that is being raised will be used to purchase books to donate to the local children's hospital, as well as prize books to the readers who participate. This is a great opportunity for kids to come together for the same causes--a focus on reading and a focus on the kids in the hospital! Contact me today for any further information!
